I’m so excited to introduce my new appliqué sew-along! It is called Sweet Seasons, and will be a quarterly appliqué project. There are 4 great, seasonal blocks, that can be made into a single quilt, or made into 4 seasonal wall hangings.
I’m starting with the autumn project, so you can work on it all summer! Today I’m posting the materials list and the cutting instructions for the four blocks. I have included the yardage of tea-dyed muslin and hand-dyed cottons that will be used in the appliqué blocks. There is enough yardage for the finishing blocks at the end of the project.
Here is the materials list and beginning cutting instructions.
Next week I will post the pattern for the first block. Here’s a sneak peek at the project: (Although its the winter block.)
So, if you love appliqué, and are looking for something new, join me for Sweet Seasons! For those non-appliqué people, I will be starting a Block-of-the-Month sew-along coming soon!
