One of the premier machine quilting show is held in my own backyard: HMQS. So, my friends and I trekked over to Salt Lake City last week to enjoy some beautiful quilts. (And a lot of shopping!)
You know, as a long-arm quilter, I feel pretty good about my work most of the time, but this is the show where I get down on my knees, bow, and repeat the words, “I am not worthy!” The quilters that get ribbons in this show are absolutely amazing! There are no words for the intricacy of their quilting. Many of the quilts are pretty spectacular before quilting, so they are magnificent after being quilted. I hope you enjoy this SMALL sampling of the gorgeous quilts that were there to be seen. (But not touched.)
