Here’s a Crazy Piecing Method to make Row 3’s Baskets Extra Fun!

My cute neighbors where I grew up had cats. Most of us did at that time. They had a way of calling their cats that was very unique. They’d yell, “Heeere kitty, kitty, kitty!” Always the same. (Think of Carol Burnett’s Tarzan call.) It had a tune to it too! Maybe they needed some kitty baskets, then their kitties wouldn’t have wandered as much!

Row 3 is all about baskets! Funky Baskets, to be exact. It comes to us from Becky Jorgensen of Patchwork Posse.

I’ve known Becky for quite a few years. She was way ahead of me on the “online” train and has been very successful in using electronic media. I always wish I had started when she did!

Here’s more about Becky:

Becky Jorgensen is a quilter and pattern designer; her love of the needle started with an embroidery sampler at age 8. She’s not afraid to think outside of the box and explore new quilting techniques and ideas.  In 2014 she launched an online quilt group allowing her to share her passions with quilters from around the world and build an active community.

In addition to the quilt group, she also designed and sells a Patchwork Planner & Journal.  Helping others keep projects, supplies, ideas and progress tracking is something she enjoys. Bringing a little bit of organization to a creative sewing area is tough; having more time to sew and less time searching is her goal.

Her patterns have appeared with Thermoweb, Andover Fabrics, Moda Bake Shop, Checkers Dist, Primitive Quilts Magazine, Fat Quarterly and more. You can keep up with the latest happenings, planner pages and patterns on her blog-
