In honor of the first day of autumn earlier this week, I thought I’d share some gorgeous fall quilts.
Here’s a beauty: Scrappy Leaves from the Maple Leaf Quilts book by Ilene Bartos. This was made by Lynn of Sew’n Wild Oaks Blog.
This is another leaf motif. I love the split colors! It reminds me of my quilt, Flower Power! (Except it’s leaves…) This was made by Carla Barrett.
The next one is pumpkins through the months! I’ve quilted one of these for a customer. The pattern is Punkin’ Patch, and this one was made by Mary Hill.
This one is very cool! It’s a variation on attic windows called Autumn Perpective by Joen Wolfrom.
This isn’t the best image, but I love the bright hand-dyed fabrics in this quilt! It is from Starr Design Fabrics, and is called Shades of Autumn.
The next one is Helen’s Autumn Tricks. It is a great use of autumn print fabric. I love the interlocking squares.
This one is cute! I couldn’t resist because of the black kitty. I have a black kitty, too! It is by Cottage Quilt Designs.
The next one is Fall Tapestry by Sue Harvey and Sandy Boobar. It was designed with a fabric line in 2013.
The last one is mine from my book, Quilt Batik! It is September, and I still love it.

So, happy autumn! And happy sewing! Find that perfect fall project and get working.
