Fruits of my Labors

One of the things I love most about designing quilts is seeing them in different fabrics! I love seeing other peoples’ ideas and colors in my design. This quilt was made by my good friend, Mary Christensen.

She used a fun baby girl print for the main fabric and borders, and also made it smaller for a baby quilt! I think its adorable, and way fun.

Mary and I used to work together at the now defunct “Threads of Time.”  Then she moved to Logan, Utah, and now she works at Red Rooster. (I did an entry for them last year.)

We still like to get together to sew, or go shop-hopping, which we’re planning this month! (Yay!)

Anyway, the original quilt design is Fruit Basket from my book Fresh and Fabulous Quilts. Enjoy this version, too!
