Wow! I got so many great comments and suggestions! I loved all your hints and tips and I wish you could all win. I picked 3 winners, though, and they are:
Becky Rabalais in Lilburn, Georgia! Her hint was so simple, but refreshing. She said, “My favorite quilting tip is to sew some each day. Snatch 15 minutes a day to work on a project. I like to leave a project with pinned, ready for sewing, near my machine. I am motivated to get to my sewing machine and get that portion of the project completed.”
Jane Coleman in Sterling VA! Again, it was a simple suggestion, but one I could certainly use! She said, “Make your binding and label as you make your quilt top. Then you have no excuses!”
Elaine Clifford in Denver, PA! Her suggestion was a practical one, and will help me keep track of things! She said, “I keep paper by my sewing machine so when I decide to make a quilt I can take one small scrap from each fabric used and and sew it to the paper… that way I have a log of which designer and Fabric comprise the quilt. I used to put the in a ziploc bag and label the quilt name and date. Either way works but the paper log is a more permanent log and can be filed with the quilt pattern if one was used.”
These three ladies will each be receiving a copy of Quiltmaker’s 100 Blocks from Today’s Top Designers. Thanks, again for visiting my site, and I hope you come back often!

Wow! How cool is that?! Thank you so much for picking my comment to win.
I know I’m going to love seeing all those lovely block creations and it will help me see more possibilities in my upcoming quilts!
