I am doing a trunk show this Saturday, September 19, 2009, for the Bountiful/Salt Lake City Long-arm guild. I’ll be talking about my book, Fresh and Fabulous Quilts, as well as showing other quilts I’ve machine quilted.
Its at 10:00 a.m. at the Bountiful/Davis Arts Center at 745 S. Main St., Bountiful. It should be fun!
This quilt came about when I was working for “Threads of Time” quilt shop several years ago. The fruit fabric came into to shop, and within 24 hours the fabric was gone. We, the employees, had split it up amongst ourselves! I really don’t know if any customers bought any at all, but we all got several yards each.
I love, love, LOVE the name of this quilt shop! My “Fresh and Fabulous” Trunk Show is in this cute shop for the month of September. Going Batty is located in beautiful Reno, Nevada, just northeast of Lake Tahoe.
They offer tons of classes, workshops, retreats and long-arm quilting services. They will soon be hosting Vicki Tracy as a guest teacher. She will also be doing a trunk show. Their classes range from the very beginners to more advanced quilters.
