If you enjoy paper piecing you’ll love the Add a Quarter ruler from CM Designs. It makes a fast and simple way to get your seams the right size while paper piecing, and is very easy to use! You just line it up with the folded paper (or foundation) and cut. This tool is a definite “must” for anyone paper piecing!

This fun quilt was inspired by some shape studies my husband was doing on the computer. I wanted to make this something easy. Â I designed the center blocks first, then wanted the border to have little squares that “float.” That was probably the hardest part to figure out, actually!

Four of “my babies” (quilts) are in Hanford, California at a cute shop called Quilter’s Quarters. Hanford is in central California, just south of Fresno.

Four of “my babies” are currently being viewed at Ben Franklin Crafts in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin! (No, I don’t know how to pronounce it, either.)Â I’ve never been there, but it is just to the west of Milwaukee and Lake Michigan.Â
